 Friday, 7 February: "The Economics of Happiness" film screening and open forum with international economist Helena Norberg-Hodge and Buddhist teacher Jakob Leschley. Bellingen Memorial Hall - doors open at 6:00 pm for a 7:00 pm start. Entry by donation. Food available for purchase. Contact us if you are interested in childcare. 

Helena is a pioneer of the "new economy movement". She has been promoting an economics of personal, social, and ecological well-being for more than 30 years, through her writing and public lectures worldwide. She is producer and co-director of the award winning flim "The Economics of Happiness".

Jakob teaches Tibetan Buddhism and is Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche's resident teacher in Australia.

Friday, 31 January: "New Moon in Aquarius" Transition Bellingen 2014 planning gathering. 5:30 - 7:30 pm (place to be announced). This is a working party! Let's gather together to get some Transition events and projects going for 2014.
